This is a back to basics writing class for anyone and everyone who would like to spend a few hours writing creatively – and who knows where that will lead? Whether new to writing, a keen wordsmith at school and eager to sharpen those pencils once again, or a seasoned writer of all sorts of fiction who yearns for the camaraderie and support, not to mention the fun, of writing and being with other writers, this course is for you.
Each session we will take a look at a specific area of fiction writing, whether this be story, structure or style related. We will also produce a piece of writing and receive group feedback on it, ending the session with a fun speed writing exercise to keep those creative juices flowing way beyond the end of the class.
We’ll have a short break for refreshments
(this cuppa is on me)*
Writing in between sessions is very much encouraged (because it makes us feel GREAT) but not essential.
