I was touched to be asked to contribute my favourite feel good recipe from my chemo days for the 'Eat Better With Cancer' cookbook, created by the Live Better With Cancer organisation. It's packed with 32 recipes from everyday folk who stumbled across the odd thing they could eat which didn't taste of mud stirred with bicarbonate of soda, unlike most things when they were undergoing chemo. I'm not saying I was obsessed with this meal, simply that my family all knew instantly which I'd choose when asked. (Well, it was the salmon or the custard biscuits.)
